This Notice explains how the official website of the AIES 2026 summit (www.aies.global) uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser, for example to remember a sign-in or to keep the site secure.
1. Our approach
The public pages of this website do not set advertising, marketing or analytics cookies, do not use third-party analytics or ad-tracking tools, and do not use cookies to build a record or profile of your browsing. On your first visit, a short cookie notice is shown at the bottom of the page. When you click “Accept”, we save a record (aies_cookie_notice) in your browser’s local storage so that the notice is not shown again. This record stays on your device, is never sent to us, and can be removed at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
The following cookies are needed for the website to operate securely:
Cloudflare security cookies (for example __cf_bm and cf_clearance, set by Cloudflare): this website is protected by Cloudflare, which may set such cookies to identify malicious traffic or bots or to complete a security check. They usually expire within 30 minutes to a few days and are not used for advertising or tracking.
3. Embedded third-party content
The Participate page embeds a venue map from OpenStreetMap. When the map loads, your browser connects directly to OpenStreetMap’s servers, which therefore receive technical information such as your IP address and may use storage technologies under their own policies. If you follow an external link such as “Open in Maps”, the third-party website you visit (for example Google Maps, a ticketing platform or social media) operates under its own cookie policy. Please refer to those third parties’ privacy and cookie policies.
4. Managing cookies
You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause security checks to fail, but will not usually stop you from viewing the website.
5. Updates
If we introduce new cookies or analytics tools, we will update this Notice before using them and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.
If you have any questions, please contact the Organising Committee Secretariat at [email protected].
